Sure. I have a 504 and had a 3.6ish when I applied(don't really remember). I've heard of people all over the board MCAT-wise getting in so I have no idea how they're ordering this waitlist. I think it may have helped me being from south

I know. Every week that went by without hearing back was painful. Call them and see if you can get an idea of where on the list you are at least.

I thought South doesn't do that.

If you word it right, they do. Ask for feedback for example. If they say it's too early to ask, it means you're high on the list. They won't tell you how many people are left before your name though.

From MSAR:"Typical number of waitlist positions per cycle: Approximately 40
Number of acceptance offers granted to applicants on the waitlist: 30"
In other words, typically ~75% of the waitlist get accepted.

I called and recieved feedback early this month. They didn't really tell me to do anything different for next cycle "should that be necessary." Mark acted like there might be a few more spots open up but said he wasn't sure. Just said, "again, we will just have to see how everything shakes out." No one has posted an acceptance on here since my phone call so idk what that means
