OK, I know this is a tongue in cheek remark to a very likely troll, but ... being a Cali resident I can't help but point out that Davis is in the middle of the central valley, 2-3 hours from a beach!!!! *LOL*

The reason I withdrew from Davis during undergrad application is b/c it is a pretty big exception to "the good weather".
