Exactly!!! Thank you!!! But, someone tell me what do schools look for? She has the scores and the extracurricular (shadowing, research, volunteer, and yara, yara, yara) She has a great personality; her conversations are pleasant. However, WL after interviewed! Please if you are reading this note and have been accepted ..., give us some tips! Do no tell me to be myself. I, myself, have been interviewed several times, and I am still looking forward to getting accepted !!!no way she needs that program with those stats lol...
my dates were only 2/20 and 2/24.For what day?
Did they say how many dates were left?
Yes 71 LizzymHas anyone IS been waitlisted/rejected post interview with a LizzyM higher than 69
My interview with the MS-4 was more conversational and consisted of questions about my hobbies/extracurriculars while my faculty interview had situational/ethical questions mixed in with some 'why medicine?' type questions. Overall, the vibe of interview day is very relaxed and you'll see that once you're there and get to talking with current med students during lunch; everyone is very friendly and I truly felt like they just wanted to get to know me, hope that helps!Have been trying to look through the thread to get some insight to interview day. I know people keep saying "low-stress" but can anyone confirm or deny if bioethics or health care questions are asked? Or is it mostly a personality/behavioral interview? I guess since they are one-on-ones this answer could range, but would love some feedback from anyone who has already gone through it! Thanks!!
You should have gotten an email confirmation + an email reminder. But these were my instructions, I would assume they are same for everyone. Goodluck!I'm scheduled for an interview on Monday the 20th, but haven't gotten confirmation for my interview or any information about the interview day, nor in my spam email. On the secondary portal I am confirmed for the 20th. Does anybody have info about what time to be there? I'll call as soon as I can but I'm nervous right now as I have no info. TIA

Hey guys! I interviewed here on January 13th, but I don't think they told us when we'd here back from them by. Would anybody happen to know? I know they say "the week of...". Thanks!
I thought they said the week of February 20th, or maybe I heard them wrong but that's what I had written downHi! I wrote down the week of march 20th. On that note, does anyone know if we will definitely hear back the date they told us, or is there a possibility that we'll hear before or after?

+1I bet they didn't meet yesterday because of President's Day, but I just checked my portal and it now says "Admissions Committee Review Completed"
You guys will definitely hear this week then.

Also any info about a second look date or orientation date? Couldn't find specifics on the website. It mentioned early august but didn't see an exact day
I gave up my seat here last week, so hopefully one of you guys still waiting ends up taking it. I loved my interview day at FIU and was really surprised at how far it's coming along for being so young.
