Currently live in billings if anyone has any questions about what life here looks like.
Thanks! What is there fun to do? In terms of nature and the city life. Just curious, never been to MontanaCurrently live in billings if anyone has any questions about what life here looks like.
We are not the typical image of Montana in terms of beautiful mountains and all of that. It’s located in more eastern Montana which does have its own charm but more of a prairie look to it. We do have a natural rock face that goes around the city that’s referred to as the “rims”, great place to go on a walk or rock climbing if that’s your thing. The city is also right next to the Yellowstone river which is one of the largest in the state. It’s a mid sized city around 115,000 people. We are slowly growing, we just got a chick fil a lol. Most people go out to the bars on the weekends here which we have plenty of, also gambling is legal so there is a casino on every other block. Our downtown leaves a bit to be desired, pretty small and dangerous for how small we are. If you are looking for housing here eventually I would try to shoot for places on the west end, it’s the current area of development, has a new Costco about to open, our zoo, movie theater, places to eat, and the school is on the west end as well. There is a large Native American presence here as we are about 20 minutes from the largest reservation in our state. Housing can be a bit spendy for the size of town we are, probably looking in the range of $800-$1500 for a one bed room. We have two of the largest hospitals networks in our state. If you do want to get involved more in the outdoor scene redlodge has a great ski resort and plenty of hikes and fishing but it’s about 1.5 drive out. Our winters can take some getting used to, for example it snowed last week. Overall not a lot to do city wise but some great experiences for outdoor stuff if you look for them. Thanks! Not really, just to introduce yourself in the chat. Otherwise they mostly focus on presenting the school and then answering questions from studentsFor the deans overview presentation, is there any interview style questions or icebreakers we are asked?
I interviewed on the 5th of September and got accepted on the 26th!For anyone that has been interviewed/accepted, what has been the turnaround time for an interview decision? Facing a deposit deadline to another school and any insight would be SO helpful

I would suggest looking at the RVU interview feedback on this website! Otherwise I read the Interview prep book from the premed playbook series by Dr Gray. Good luck!Hi everyone! How did you all prep for the interview? Did you feel that mock interviews were enough prep along with research about the program, etc. ?
