It's definitely possible for anyone to get matched to a program with 1-2 interviews! But statistically, more interviews give you more programs to rank. Per 2017 stats, "a higher number of interview offers received correlates with a higher Match rate (10+ -> 90% Match rate)." If you get 0-3 interviews, you have 58% of matching, which in my opinion, is still pretty high!

I think the program director selects you for either one to interview at. Last year I received a rejection email like in Feb saying they filled their spots and have no more interviews. I know that probably doesn't help, but that was my experience.

It’s a scramble, basically you will email the programs with spots you are interested in immediately with your CV and tell them you are interested in a post match spot with them. You can also call too but usually it’s too crazy and they won’t answer.

Do you guys know much about the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta? I know it's a new program and is currently initially accredited. Is it worth it to even consider this program? I've heard some awful stuff about the Georgia School of Orthodontics (GSO) and its horrendous reputation. And I wasn't sure if the Children's Healthcare of ATL is kinda like that or not. Can anyone please share their opinions and what they may have heard about the program?
