I read $100 will pay a month's rent in a nicer part of town, and with $20K/yr you will hobnob with the elite.

Of course, you will probably need an armed escort wherever you go to avoid being kidnapped, but that's pretty cheap too.

Have there been any charges relating to Russian collusion that would justify the continued attention to this topic?

It seems to me that Mueller moved on to better things a long time ago, like money laundering, lobbying crimes, etc.

absolutely.

russia f@cked with our democracy. we still dont know the full extent. trump is in their pockets and doing his best to mess with the country. EVERYONE in the government, including all intelligence agencies and now the senate intelligence panel just said that russia attacked us and are still doing it. yet our president openly questions this. this is literally our democracy at stake.

you dont know what mueller knows, and neither do i, so you cant insinuate that there should be "continued attention to this topic". you are bling if you think that there was no coordinationfrom trump personally with the russians to help win the election.

think about all the things trump has done to help russia since he's been in office:

-tried to get them into G8
-prevented further sanctions, despite words directly from nicki haley's mouth
-moved US away from NATO, WTO, TPP, Paris accord, western allies
-tarriffs on everyone but russia(essentially)
-is about to give syria to russia
-north korea appeasement
-basically forgot about and let them have crimea
-no punishment for the chemical attack in britain.
-etc. im sure i am forgetting a bunch

trump is legitimately a russian asset at this point. remind me again: how are all of these things good for america?

What are the charges specifically regarding Russia Trump election collusion and who are they against?

Don’t forget he’s a bigot and racist. Democrats just care about the children.....it’s all about the children. Even though he is going to nominate a female SC justice, he’s still a sexist. And he’s racist cuz she isn’t black. Did I leave anything out?

Because 1. It’s fake news propounded initially by Brietbart News, that purveyor of truth and justice, and 2. Clinton did not win the presidency. Trump did.

1. So russia, russians, etc have not poured millions into the Clinton family?
2. Thank god for that.

They already knew Hillary could be bought with a healthy donation to her “charity”. Russians may have paid some kids or bots to post on Facebook. So what? Now, if you say they hacked the DNC servers, exposing all of the crooked stuff Hillco was doing, then that adds a new dynamic to it.

Hillary-undone by her own actions brought to light by a foreign power.

Who is to blame? The party committing the act or the person who rats them out? And she had stuff on her personal server, so she should have known Russians were hacking, which makes her complicit or incompetent or both.

who the F$ck cares about clinton? Emails, uranium one, clinton foundation, benghazi? they are ALL bullsh$t. trey gowdy spent 2.5 years on Bengazhi, and had ZERO indictments. she answered questions for 7 hours about the email "scandal". mueller puts that to shame. let the process play out. where there is smoke, there is a blazing inferno. trump will need to testify. and you should want him to if you have any faith in america

I think in America, you're supposed to first discover a crime, then find the perpetrator, then indict, then subpoena.

Democrats are trying to use the banana republic tactic of doing the opposite. They have a political figure they hate and are trying to find a crime (any crime) to pin on him. That's why Democrats are perpetually frustrated - their approach is crooked.

Both parties are corrupt. Folks who blindly attack the opposition are sheeple.

I do think it's pretty funny/ironic that a socialist state like Russia used a socialist platform like Facebook, run by socialist leadership and supported by socialist Hollywood and socialists like Clinton and Sanders and then somehow "effectively" helped elect TRUMP. That, I just find hilarious. You can’t make this stuff up.

interesting that you would point to a biased source to debunk a supposedly nonbiased source. kind of like the pot and the kettle.

but okay, heres another site without the perceived bias.

The Facts on Uranium One - FactCheck.org

fact check on your statement tho - yes, both parties are corrupt.
"Supposedly nonbiased source", according to whom, the NYTimes?

They are all biased in one way or another. Politifact and Factcheck are liberal outfits that masquerade as the "final arbiters" and put "org" at the end of their URL in a cheap attempt to trick you. They are just more commentators. Non-profits like NPR and PBS are just as bad.

Regarding the Uranium deal: "There is no evidence that donations to the Clinton Foundation from people with ties to Uranium One or Bill Clinton’s speaking fee influenced Hillary Clinton’s official actions." But as SSdoc pointed out, where there's smoke, there's a blazing inferno.

Where the govt exists, so does bribery, lobbying, and corruption. That's why it should be shrunk.

god, nobody wants socialism -- at least not the vast majority of us. your straw-man posts are wearing thin.

Call it globalist or socialist or whatever u want.....your party’s policies are the opposite of ours. And can u stop using your favorite come-back of “straw man”?

actually, the difference between republican and democrat is a factor or two less than the difference between communism and fascism.

everyone likes to talk up the difference, but the beauty of America is the fact that we pretty much stay the course and are very stable.

even trump and his absolutely insane ridiculous policies is really not that far out there, compared to Erdogan in Turkey or Duterte in the Phillipines...

So you're saying that Bernie and "democratic socialism" are fringe and not on the rise? I hope you're right.

Most supporters of Sanders support "welfare capitalism" rather than outright socialism. Sanders himself has said he doesn't want government to control the means of production. The democratic socialist agenda is ensuring people have education and access to affordable healthcare by having people with means pay for those without means. In general it's a misunderstanding of capitalism, but proper regulation of business is impossible when business lobbyists run government rather than the people. It's unfortunate as it stands with party politics running the country. There is no purely capitalist system present in the US. It's degenerated into corporate oligarchy.

Unfortunately Welfare in its roots should be to prevent those in the middle class from falling into poverty even while they work. There needs to be incentive as a society to invest in the education of our children. This is not by giving out "free" college to everyone as that would be a catastrophic failure. Even more socialist countries like France only have taxpayers subsidize the high achieving students that test well or have merit for it. The others end up in trades or other fields. This is the key that while most libertarians would rather have private funds for scholarships so there is consent inherent into using their own money, democratic socialists would use the desires of the majority to use the funds of a minority through taxes and government spending to meet their goals. The pendulum shouldn't swing too far to one side, and ideologues serve no-one but their lobbyists and themselves.

No policy would be acceptable in a purist sense, but that's the thing we need to invest in things that private corporations and individuals may not be able to get enough funds (see infrastructure spending). Public-private partnerships are important and help a nation compete with others. We should have a combination of funding including controls both on government spending and efficiency measures. In general exceptions to capitalism needs to be most infrastructure products that are unlikely to have commodity profits or ethically questionable practices of profiting off of illness and education. This is where the bureaucracies and administrators have destroyed medicine and higher education in an opaque lack of transparency. Fee for service is unlikely to continue in medical billing (it encourages procedures whether necessary or unnecessary rather than a value based system).

not everything bad that happens in this world is trump's fault.....

but it certainly seems that way right now

the latest boondoggle is that, to paraphrase, trump wants to kill babies so infant formula manufacturers can have more money. i wish this werent an overstatement. be on the lookout for the CEO of johnson and johnson to get a cabinet post in the next few months. this is embarrassing. notice how the US was willing to challenge everybody but russia.

U.S. Opposition to Breast-Feeding Resolution Stuns World Health Officials

Si let me get this right....

A prosecutor working for DOJ hears that AP news reporters have info on a dirty US citizen working for a Russian subsidiary- aka Paul Manafort. He meets with them.

A month before Mueller was tasked with investigating Trump.

That’s bad how?

Looks like the Mueller team does indeed leak....and collude with the media as well.....the Manafort discovery process is going to be fun

Mueller’s ‘Pit Bull’ Arranged Meeting With Reporters To Discuss Manafort Investigation

yeah, we wouldnt want to compromise the integrity of the investigation: trump's side has repeatedly leaked (mueller's list of "questions" among others). more importantly, for a fair an impartial trial, all that crap that trump tweets about a witchhunt could in and of itself be considered obstruction.

we are definitely in uncharted legal territory. id love to the see president on trial. no one is above the law.

the same reporters who said Trump was racist cuz he removed the bust of MLK from the White House, but he didn’t?

I love fishing expeditions (and Trump is the biggest fish of all).... these scumbag lawyers trying to make a name for themselves, they have to always catch something or look like a failure....especially when they cry at their candidate’s election party when she lost. Lawyers always have the best moral compass and are deservedly righteous. (Violet font)

From my understanding, Ecuador wanted to sponsor a WHO resolution supporting breast feeding and the US declined to endorse and was mean to the Ecuadorian delegation (per NY Times). Then Russia introduced to no objection and the resolution was passed. And everything is right with the world now because there's a "resolution" from WHO.

It sounds like a slow news day.

But seriously, I have no objection to keeping a magnifying glass on every public official looking for abuse of power. Actually, I wish NYT reporters cared about this issue in Washington, where it is happening under their noses every minute of every day. If you threw a random dart in Washington DC, you would hit a crooked politician, aid, or lobbyist.

I guess the glory days for the NY Times and CNN will return when a Democrat gets elected so you can't blame them for their one-sided, crooked conduct.

how do liberals have the stamina to be outraged all the time?.....must be those vagina hats they wear when screaming at the sky that give special powers. Thank God we dont have another Kagan or Ginsberg nominated. I was hoping Amy Barrett from Notre Dame would be the nomination, but im not unhappy about Kavanaugh. Looks like you guys have more fodder to be outraged about for the next few weeks.

In the Manafort case there are no charges of Russian collusion, only money laundering and such. And he is in solitary confinement while they violate his civil rights....where is your outrage about these gestapo tactics? Where are the Mueller charges for Russian collusion? ....FYI Trump is having a summit meeting with Putin soon. lol

manafort repeatedly broke the law and violated his bail TWICE. he can rot in jail for all i care, and likely will until he cuts a plea deal and spills the beans. and there is collusion on manafort's part. remember, this is just one of the several trials that manafort will be charged with

Terms of Service Violation

you may not care that the president is selling our country out and letting putin, our biggest enemy, do whatever he wants, but the rest of us care.

this is emblematic of the way the trump white house works. business interests always before health, safety, the environment, or the little guy. and this isnt a small problem. do we really need to go out of our way to protect infant formula maker's bottom line?

Ssdoc....Manafort definitely screwed up if he witness tampered....but his arrest and charges have nothing to do with Trump. You made my point.....gestapo tactics are ok with you if the ends justify the means. And Trump has nothing to do with infant formula and some made up story to get you further enraged at Trump.

it's a nonsequitir.... based on a false story to begin with. If he makes a phone call, then the media will say it wasnt presidential and he should delegate that job and bla bla bla.

If only the liberal media had some credibility. Id love to find out what that author has written in the past. But i wont bother.
