Need Help Making Decision - UMASS vs Jefferson

I'll make two quick points first - yes I do realize that I am very lucky that I even get to make a decision and yes I realize that I'm posting in medical student forum, although it makes a lot more sense to ask you guys vs other premeds.

I've been accepted to UMass and Jefferson (inb4 not Harvard) and would genuinely appreciate advice on which institution would provide me with a better experience. I also realize that saying I know what specialty I want to do before matriculation is TABOO; however, I'm pretty damn sure I want to pursue ortho...sue me.

Anyways...I really would appreciate some input

For ortho, Jefferson 100%.

idk about ortho and idk about "experience" but being in philly will allow you to do away rotations at temple and penn without relocating, so if philly is a place you'd like to be, then that's it for you. if you'd rather be in bahstahn, then those programs will be more likely to know your letter writers at umass i suppose

I agree with this; Jefferson is a top tier program for ortho.
