i would have thought that too.. except they sent the withdrawal to ALL of the people again. you would think that if that were the reason the would not have REPEATED that mistake. so i think it must have meant that we were in a pile for holding.. not rejecting. im not counting on it.. but it just seems more likely.
anyway.. super weird.

I got that too...rejected...withdrawn...and then rejected again. First rejection today from wslu...then 2 other ones that came after that. OUCH.

I got an email from wustl (with lots of other emails recipients that were readily visible which i thought was inappropriate--the usual "its not you, its us" rejection. then within a few minutes i got an email from the same administrator at wustl, with all the same names in the heading, asking that the previous email be withdrawn. i figured there would be a follow up but there was none... what the H????? anyone with a similar story. any ideas what it means?

Re: WashU: are there separate rejection and wait list letters? I got a letter that said they would call if people cancelled. Does that mean I'm on the wait list or is that what everyones letter said?

I also received a letter rejecting me then saying I may be contacted if people canceled. I don't know if that means waitlist or what.
