First make sure that those 3 actually offered interviews and weren't just dates added to the list. Otherwise of course its ideal to be in the first batch of offers, but not being so certainly isn't a rejection. Just hope your ap was in the hands of a procrastinating faculty reviewer.

How come no one added U Wisc to the list?

Btw... Looks like there will be 4 groups of interviewees--2 groups per day with one group starting about 2 hours earlier than the other group.

I believe everything gets first sent to CAS. So have your score sent overnight to you, then overnight it to CAS (unless USMLE people will overnight it straight to CAS), then they will upload it to the programs you applied to. I just had my Dean's letter sent nextday air to CAS.

Anyone else hearing interview invites, then nothing for several days? I don't like long pauses

Hey everyone, I just want to put in a plug for the SDN ophtho residency program compendium . I'm sure most of you are familiar with it. It lists all (or most) of the ophtho programs and includes basic program info/interview feedback from past applicants. There are a lot of programs, however, for which there is little if any information. It would be awesome if we could update this compendium as much as possible - it could really become a great resource. Even now, before we hit the interview trail, we could likely fill in gaps about our home programs, or those we are familiar with. I will update whatever info I can for the programs I know something about. Would you all be willing to do the same?

Helpful info may include:

- general impression of the program/faculty/residents
- general impression of the geographic location
- surgical volume
- work load/call requirements
- unique strengths/weaknesses
- any red flags (unhappy residents, faculty attrition, accreditation issues)

What other information would you like to see posted??

Contacted a program and they said I was on a cancellation list. So I guess this means that if people decide that they don't wanna interview there, then I may get an invite. Makes me wonder if I should even go (if offered), if they didn't want me the first go around.

I just got word that UT-Houston had a database error that sent out erroneous interview invitations to people that in fact did not have an invite. So if you received an invitation from UT-Houston, call or email and confirm with them!!!

Quick question guys, Step 2 scores coming out this week, if I want to send it to programs how best do I get the information to all programs in a speedy fashion?

Last year I had this same question. What I did, and think is the best idea, is to email the electronic pdf score report to all the program coordinators and bypass CAS altogether. They get the score immediately and will put it in your file. Quick, easy, painless. I know that the reviewers received it, as I had comments about it during interviews. Hope this helps!

omg theeyeshaveit, me too!!! haha...sadly, i hate this wait between getting a few interviews and then a bunch of rejections. DOES anyone know if ROCHESTER is all done with giving out interviews? OR DOWNSTATE??

I got Downstate today- still only offering the Nov date. I do not think they are done inviting
