I have way too much time on my hands, hence the updated list...:laugh:

AS for Buffalo, (going back). It's a good program. All but one resident had private practice experience, and all but one were from U of Buffalo. They did say that it was coincidence though :confused:. The interviews are very laid back, no structured questions, talk about what ever you want. The residents were great at answering your questions and gave a short presentation about it. At the end you definitely leave feeling like you have a good understanding of the program. It runs like a private practice with a little bit of teaching, so it may be a bit scary for someone just getting out of school, b/c no one will be holding your hand there. But like I said one resident was there straight from school and doing fine. They interview over 60 people for 5 spots. So although for me it would be a great fit, I'm not holding my breath and expect to do this again next year.:p:oops:

I backtracked in the posts -the only thing I could find about Wisconsin was that someone got an e-mail - but no dates posted. I received a phone call today and they offered Nov 12/13 & 19/20 and Dec 3/4 & 17/18.

Starbright: At LSU, everyone dressed formally, but not necessarily in a suit for the first day. On the second day you are only there for your 30min. scheduled interview, which can be anytime between 8am and 4pm.

P/S I can't believe that in another couple of weeks (give or take a week) this whole process will be over. As disappointing as this whole experience has been for me personally, I'll be so happy to no longer have to obsessively check the mail, e-mail and phone. I marked my calender for Nov 13, as the END. :)

Sorry, didn't mean to freak you out...although it is Halloween, most of the last interviews are given out in the first 2-3 wks of Nov, hence my date.

I bet if you call Rochester, they would let you choose a different date. They did for me.

Mississippi offered an in-house date of Nov 16. I couldn't make that one so they scheduled me for Nov 30 based on the resident's schedule. I don't know if they have invited anyone outside the school yet, but I would assume Nov 30 would be one of their days if not the only. Sorry I don't know more.
