Can you rank a program if you did not interview with them and they did not send you a rejection letter?

But you won't be matched because you won't be on the program ranking list. That's my theory.

Does anyone know if we can participate in the two phases of the match?
For example, if I didn't have luck the first, I can rank my list in the 2ed phase

Yes, but programs probably only rank candidates that they chose to interview.

Wow, that's great. Could you please share the application highlights that you think qualify you for the interviews?
Pm me

Yes, as long as you meet deadlines for programs in Phase 2. If you end up matching in Phase 1, you have to withdraw from the Match for Phase 2.

As interviews wrap up, I was wondering what are some things folks take into consideration when ranking their top programs. In general, I know this varies for everyone but please respond to this message with some of the important things to consider for each program. We might each find out something that we didn't consider that might make a difference for us. Two important things for me are low cost of living and strong clinical experience.

1. Quality of clinical education (including sedation training and technology)
2. Culture of the program (don’t want to spend 3 years in a cutthroat environment)
3. Cost of the program (you can adjust the cost of living)
Overall, I think that when people around you are kind, respectful and supportive, then it should be a good program.

Is there a chance of getting match by ranking only one program?

Adding to what you mentioned…
1) my performance in the interview and how likely I’m ranked in their top list
2) Faculty/ residents ratio
3) Clinics/ residents ratio
4) Chance of cooperation with other departments (interdisciplinary pt care)
5) How much the program can prepare me to the board exam (good let reviews and case presentation, mock board exam…etc)

is there a place to find accurate information on tuition for programs?
at some of my interviews they did not share what the tuition is and it cannot be found anywhere on their website.

Guys,
What would you choose and why if you had a chance to choose between the OSU and OU residency programs?

Match is going to open this Monday at midnight 🤞

Hello everyone, I need your professional opinions on USC and Columbia university program. which one would you choose and why?

Hello everyone, I need your professional opinions on USC and Columbia university program. which one would you choose and why?
I would choose USC; more or less same tuition, same clinical trainings, LA would be more fun

How about USC vs NYU? not including cost of living...
USC is ~115k/yr
NYU is ~70k/yr (surprisingly cheaper...)
