Speaking of sweets, I just found out that there is this one mithai place in Malton where they make cholesterol free sweets and samosas!! I'll let you all know if the taste is still there.

remember that episode of seinfield, where this joint near jerry's neighbourhood was claiming to sell fat free yogurt and like everybody was going there to eat and suddenly finding themselves gaining weight
and finally that place had to be shut down
I don't know if this place which is claiming to sell cholestrol free sweets is indulging in the same tactics

^ Arre, don't you know what paan does to your teeth??? Best part in American Desi was when Kris goes to the Indian Supermarket, only to be greeted by some guy spitting out the paan juice :lol: .

Yeah,Paan stains your teeth ,it does not help in forming cavities like candies and choclates and other sweet stuff
I don't eat paan myself, but there are many who love to eat paan after a heavy meal and I posted that pic for them
and besides, if people keep eating paan, it will keep my Dental business running :laugh: :laugh:

Hmmmn....I do not know how to cook any sweets ....I can cook spicy...butterwala......punjabi food...
 
i´m going to cook some indian dishes for my german friends here tomorrow- any suggestions? This is the second time! first time i did Tandoori chicken, Fish curry and lamb biryani!
