For those of you who have interviewed at KCOM....what was the interview like? I see that there are two one hour interviews...YIKES! How bad were they? What kind of questions did they ask? THANKS!
Well like any interview, how smoothly it goes depens alot on the interviewer. My interviews were very laid back. I spent the whole hour in one and then only 40 min. in the other. The interviews are scheduled for an hour but may not last that long. Anyway, by the time I was done with my interviews I knew more things about the professors I interviewed with than I know about the professors I see everyday at my undergrad. I was just mainly asked about my things on my application such as classes taken and major chosen. The best thing is that the interviews are in the morning, they are done and over with first. The interview day was good, it went very smoothly. You had a personal escort to each interviewer. They basically just took you where you needed to go, which was very nice. They also tell you when you can expect to hear from them and when you can call and find out about your acceptance status. The best part about the interview is that sometime during the day they have you try on white coats to determine what size you will need if you matriculate there. It makes you feel like they really expect you to be there next year. Well I think I've typed enough. If you have any more questions I can try to answer them. GOOD LUCK!!
Something I did not mention though was do be prepared for ethical questions. I did not have any, however one girl in my interview group was nailed with ethical questions.
