Hi all,
No I haven't heard anything from Wilmer....I was wondering the same question as well.
I hit a dead space for the past 2 wks with no e-mail. Hopefully it will change soon.

Wilmer invites haven't been sent yet.

They are cutting a little close this year with first interview day coming up in a little more than 2 weeks. Those plane tickets are going to be expensive.

Tufts - Only offered Nov 30 (email)
Texas Tech - Nov 16, Nov 30, Dec 7 (email)

And I got the prerequisite rejection from Boston U last week (email)....

Seems though a lot of programs have either JUST started or are about to start looking at apps. Keep the faith guys. Best luck to all
 
on a side note:

has anyone *NOT* gotten rejected from BU? sheesh, what do these people expect? 265 step 1/2, discovering a new surgical procedure and ophtho research since you were in the womb?

i have a good mind to send them a rejection letter....

they also start off their email with "Dear Dr. ____". I want to call them and be like "whoaaa, let's calm it down with all that Dr business".... :)

I just got an interview from loyola today, and i had my app in on sept 5th and sent to my programs about a week later...

But the secretery said that they aren't close to being filled up yet, meaning that they're sending out interview offers veerrryyy slowlyyyyy.

Nov 1 and 2 are still open... dinner for both sets of interviewees on the night of the 1st for whoever can make it.
 
If wilmer has not contacted yet, does that mean they will most likely not be offering an interview?

Yes - it appears that way. The only thing I got today was an email from Yale confirming receipt of my applic.
 
yeah...didnt u like that email (which i got today)...it had like 150 names on it, and the first thing it says is "THIS IS NOT AN INVITE FOR AN INTERVIEW"

haha, cracked me up
 
Haha...that was priceless. Also, when I got the same email again a few minutes later, I thought, "Oh man, they rejected me THAT fast?"

uab invite via email; only available date was nov 2.

umich sent out email with dates (nov 15, nov 29, and dec 6), invitation to come by phone in mid october and rejections by mail in october sometime.
 
wisonsin rejections via snail mail. "tear."
 
I got a rejection from Hopkins this morning via snail mail...

strangest part is...I didnt even apply to Hopkins...

kidding :p
 
All this waiting for Wilmer...and nice rejection today. Oh well ...life goes on, right? :):):)

got my wilmer rejection as well. can't win em all!

hopefully this week will bring some more interviews for us all.
 
Looks like I spent $35 on Wilmer, and they spent 41 cents on me. Rejected! :)
