Are you insulting me with that last bit?

Do you really think the Billy Bobs of the world should procreate, but not an educated, intelligent, unflinchingly honest man such as myself?
No he's saying that not everyone needs to procreate in order for the human race to continue. You know the world is over populated right? He's not talking about you specifically

Quit taking every **** thing as a personal criticism towards yourself. Seriously. I was talking about in general. Learn to read in context.

People should have children bc they love them and can afford to raise them. Your thinking that only "intelligent" people should procreate and that people who may not be as "intelligent" but are loving people who could easily raise well rounded, healthy children is faulty in logic.

Pathoma is the best thing to ever happen to pre-clinical pathology. Take heme for example. Look at how FA presents the clotting cascade. It looks like a mess. It was confusingly taught to us in our heme/onc course. Listen to Sattar describe the cascade and after 1 minute you'll never forget.
the coagulation cascade doesn't exist.

I actually had to look up depilatories. Never gone that route. Waxing is another option.

I wonder if ark knows we have hair on our legs/armpits too.
well if you have hair on your legs and armpits, you shouldn't.

Damn feminists.

Lol, I'm not talking about a few rapes (which you expect in a country of over a billion people) that the leftist media have turned into a cause célèbre, I'm talking about the veritable orgies that happen at fraternities here, and my fear that my future wife may have been a part of them.
Crowds of men raping women for days or killing them on city transportation is a BIG deal, no matter how many times it happens

I didn't know that ladies had hair down there lol. In porn all the ladies are hairless, I guess I thought that was the default.

This... this is exactly what I mean. The character you play online is probably very similar to the kind of person you are in real life, but you overemphasize and exaggerate your naivety to elicit emotional reactions. In other words, you are trolling. There is no possible way you have made it this far in life without knowing what I quoted above. Even if you had been as sheltered as humanly possible, you are a second year medical student. That means you have taken human anatomy and dissected cadavers. You've learned about the Tanner scale. There is a 100% chance that this quote is BS. It has become painfully obvious that you say things like this because it feeds into the ridiculousness of the character you play online.

Do you really think the Billy Bobs of the world should procreate, but not an educated, intelligent, unflinchingly honest man such as myself?

Flinchingly ironic.

Speaking of which, our school made us read some stupid stuff in preparation for the female pelvic exams. I didn't know that ladies had hair down there lol. In porn all the ladies are hairless, I guess I thought that was the default.

Sometimes I can't tell if you've watched too much porn or not enough of it.

One word: Japanese.

Oh come on, I never paid any attention in Gross Anatomy because I hated it, and my only exposure to women's private parts comes from adult videos, what do you think I'm going to assume?

Also wtf is a Tanner scale?

Well, school shootings are an big deal too, but we don't go around expecting Columbines or Virginia Techs to happen. And yes, the infamous rape you're talking about was a big deal, but not as big a deal as the feminists and leftists make it out to be.

When you have a country as populous as the USA or India, you will get atrocities like Sandy Hook or the Delhi Bus Rape. That's just the way of the world. But because the leftists and feminists made it their pet issue and propagated it around the world, white commentators get to softpedal racist rants against Indians by asking why India somehow has a "rape problem," with some lovely people thinking that Indian men in particular have propensities to rape women.

Oh, really? This is from a thread in June, when someone asked you to describe the structure of a tongue in another thread you were trolling:

The tongue is comprised of 4 muscles, the genioglossus, hyoglossus, palatoglossus, and styloglossus. The palatoglossus is innervates by CN X because it originates from the palate (subserved by the vagus), the rest are innervated by CN XII.

The lingual artery is virtually unassisted in supplying the tongue.

The chorda tympani provides taste to the anterior 2/3 of the tongue, while the mandibular division of the trigeminal provides general sensation to that part. The glossopharyngeal nerve provides both those functions to the posterior of the tongue.

That's all I know off the top of my head.

Pretty good for someone who "never paid any attention in gross anatomy."

Intelligence is overrated- it's just one aspect of being human, and certainly not the most important one. There's probably plenty of less intelligent people out there that have more subjectively fulfilling, happy, and meaningful lives than you or I.

How is rape not as much of a big deal as feminists and leftists make it out to be? Really, I'm not comprehending what you are trying to say here. Obviously atrocities happen, some of us just like to talk about how to prevent as many as possible. I think the world has a rape problem. Last time I checked there is no place on earth where rape doesn't happen - maybe Antarctica? NO one here is saying that Indian men are especially rapey. All I (and others) are saying is that when you have women being raped (some raped to death) in the middle of the day on public transportation, that's a problem. I don't see how in the world that's not a "big deal"

What I'm trying to say is that because the leftists and feminists played up the Delhi Bus Rape to the point that information about random rapes in India started saturating the media. And sure, I know the peeps here won't say anything about Indian dudes, but the NYT and WashPost are not above making borderline racist comments to push their papers.

That rape was a very, very big deal because it highlighted a serious problem in India. Rape has exploded in India in recent years as a result of multiple factors- growing intercaste tensions, massive socioeconomic changes that have boosted the economic power of women, and a massive surplus of men due to selective abortions that has left many poor men unable to find a partner. There's other reasons as well, obviously, but this is a serious issue that only stands to grow worse if change isn't started now, as all of the exacerbating factors will continue to worsen in coming years.

I'm just saying that nothing happens without far-reaching consequences. By making a circus out of the Delhi Bus Rape, you've opened the door for opportunistic journalists and laypeople to spit racism at us.

Agreed that we have too many surplus men going craycray. Disagree that a sexual revolution can or will solve our issues (as some feminists think).

So because some people might react with racism we should ignore unjustices and violence that women face? Not going to happen

The sexual revolution was already happening. The rapes are a reaction to it.

I'm not saying to "ignore" anything, but I'm also saying that the media were wrong to make a circus out of this.

I also don't expect us to agree on this. You're a white woman who does not have to deal with racism. I'm a colored man who does not have to deal with violence against women. We will never empathize with each other, and I suppose we are natural enemies.

In the cities, perhaps. There's a colossal urban-rural divide in India.

LOLWUT.

People who deal with oppression of any kind are natural allies as we both understand that the world can be a harsh place and have been victims of injustice. I've always tried to be cognizant of racial disparity and do my best to be an ally in the fight against racism. I'd argue that listening to the stories of people who face a different "type" of oppression than your own is integral to the social justice movement as a whole. My biggest problem with feminism as a whole is that it has historically and culturally been focused around the needs of upper class, straight, white women. That's a problem, and why I do my best to recognize my own privilege. So I resent your implication that I don't empathize with men of color. You have no idea what my life is about. Men of color have been some of my closest friends, mentors, and allies, and have taught me a great deal over the years.

So much truth here.

As a straight, white, Christian male it would appear that I have nothing to contribute to the diversity pot. That does NOT mean that those with whom I can't directly empathize are my enemies. It's all about finding the things among us that we have in common, not the things that divide us. Come on Ark, you're better than saying things like that man.

EXACTLY. Think about how boring life would be if you were only friends with people who were just like you? That would suck. There is no reason you can't empathize with people who are different than you because of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

Haha I totally realize that, as I've lived in another country, speak another language and have some incredibly unique experiences. My point is I'm not exactly what pops into people's minds at mention of the word diversity.

I was alluding to Wolf of Wall Street, haven't you seen the movie?

I imagine this scene must have been pretty confusing:

Come on man. Even if you managed to make it to your twenties completely naive of pop culture phrases like “bush,” “bikini wax,” “Brazilian,” or “the carpet matches the drapes,” pretty much every medical image that features pathology in that region shows hair. Even if you didn’t look at any of the female cadavers during lab sessions, your school must have tagged them for exams. Most anatomy illustrations and the photos in Rohen also show pubic hair and your school had to have covered the Tanner stages, precocious puberty, female external anatomy, and at least some genital pathology (STDs, cancer, autoimmune diseases, etc.).

This is a fair assessment and I would agree. The, albeit poorly worded, point I was trying to make was that I don't think Indian men are genetically predisposed to be more rapey than men of other races. There are a lot of variables going on in India that make it a particularly dangerous place for women at the moment in regards to sexual violence.

Still not buying that Ark didn't know women had pubic hair.

Not all women in porn are completely shaven anyways, the landing strip is still pretty popular last time I checked.
