Why it's great to have a career in Pharmacy:

1. Flexible - move anywhere and have a job; great for mom-to-be
2. 100k+ salary without having to do residency and salaries continue to rise
3. Options of working for clinical, retail, pharmaceutical industry, insurance company, PBMs etc
4. Bright future, especially with MTM - endless possibilities
5. Low malpractice insurance per year
6. Open your own pharmacy and the potential of selling it for millions

Not sure if you're trying to be funny or not. Your 2 and 3 are at conflict. If you want to do clinical, you need to have residency nowadays. Sure, someone can always cite a few examples of clinical pharmacists without residency, but that is becoming rarer and rarer these days. 4 (MTM) is still at its very very early step. Yes, certainly MTM is the future of pharmacy but dont expect it to happen any time soon (but once again this may be debatable). Open your own pharmacy and sell for millions? Not sure about other places but where I'm living, it's more like this: open your own pharmacy and very soon put up an "out of business" sign because you cant compete with Walmart $4 generics. But once again, there are always exceptions.
