I am a family physician and am looking to review/update my Obs/Gyn knowledge.
The textbook I obtained is a bit heavy going and has not been very useful so far.
I am aware of the resources on the ACOG website, but apart from this, could anyone plse advise on any other useful Obs/Gyn educational resources.
I am looking for accessible sources for up to date review articles, practice updates, quizzes with explanations etc

Thanks

I think the acog practice bulletins and committee opinions are going to be your best bet as far as reviewing and updating your knowledge

Seconding ACOG if you are a member, however the fee is lofty so I get why you would not want to pay depending on your practice makeup (how many women of reproductive age or with menopausal complaints do you really see a day?)

Are you doing prenatal care and deliveries, or office gynecology mostly? I think the AAFP generally has some pretty solid recs and I occasionally find myself reading their website if I find something there before I do on ACOG.

I like the obg project (Home - The ObG Project) for quick, bite sized summaries of all kinds of topics.

Many thanks, the ObG Project appears useful.

It would be office gynecology mostly, and antenatal care (hopefully no deliveries!, but I guess I should know something about problems in labour also in case called upon for this. I have about 2 months before starting this new position.

The obs part is bit more straightforward. The textbook for the gyne section is a bit depressing and gives no sense of what is useful for day-day practice,
