If my stats are around average, would it be foolish to not apply to every school that I originally planned on, so that I could "save" some schools for a potential reapplication next cycle?

I couldn't find any threads that really discussed this, so I figured I'd ask.

If you're planning on not getting in, don't apply at all.

Do it once, do it right. Same goes for the MCAT.

absolutely ridiculous strategy. and if you're applying with both subpar GPA and MCAT and expecting all rejections already, then just don't apply til you bring up your stats.
