Ca you elaborate on what kind of incentives that boost someone's income by 110K a year? is it like some sort of commision per procedure?

It's usually a bonus based on a percentage of the amount collected. It's pretty common in podiatry I guess. With a low base salary it is less risky to the employer.

My dad knows quite a few podiatrists in LA suburbs, Beverly Hills, etc. that live in multi million dollar homes. Now most are in the $1-2.5 million dollar range which is only about a 2500-4000 square foot home. I am sure others live in larger houses, such as Ali Sadrieh, he has a very successful practice in BH, but I havn't seen his house, so I cannot attest. Just think about what makes you happy. The podiatrist will give you a very nice lifestyle some people would only dream of, and you can make it as profitable as you like by the work and planning you put into your practice.

I dont think this is recent though.

Yeah that is a BS website because it says an anesthesiologist makes 180K, which is bonkers, then it says the podiatrist makes 115K, does not sound accurate to me.
