GME, AMC, EXPR, FOSL, NOK, and CVM

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i don't think so. they want to create panic. that's their game plan.
nolthing has fundamentally changed, especially with GME where shorters are still about 100% of stock
again just my opinion.
this is an attack.
So how do THEY do this? The Wallstreeters that is. By selling some of their stock? Using borrowed money? Well I am not doing anything really. Just watching it.
I only bought like half a share BTW. I don’t know WTF I am doing and I am a terrible bet.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say I have a bit of schadenfreude for manipulating hedge funds getting smoked by a retail investor pile-on, but unfortunately if this squeezes higher there’s going to be way more little guys who get hurt by jumping on the bandwagon too late. It’s a matter time until GME crashes back to some fundamental valuation, and I doubt it’s gonna be the institutional traders who are left holding the bag.

The shorts have to be covered so they're going to feel it one way or the other.

Exactly,,,,closing robinhood account today
Brokerage accounts blocking trading WITHOUT sanction from SEC is clear market manipulation. Can't BUY? Only SELL? What do you think happens with that? Class action lawsuit against Robinhood and other brokers must happen. SEC must investigate this and Citadel as well!!

I'm glad this thread was started so I can share my growth this week!

53 on GME @ $76.46 = $14,365.62 / 354.5%
200 on BB @ $19.77 = $ 1,066.19 / 26.97%
297 on NOK @ $4.90 = $489.38 / 33.61%
145 on AMC @ $16.11 = $549.61 / 23.53% (bought into it yesterday, should have pulled the trigger on Tuesday but was putting more into NOK and BB instead)

🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

I think this week will be remembered for a long time and even though I didn't invest that much, I can say I was part of it. Here's hoping this will pay off my student loans, an engagement ring and helping with close family and friends debt!
4 consecutive $100k days for me. However, don’t feeI comfortable with all this. Will close all positions with RH and transfer to another broker. Will take about 5 days or so. So be it.

That’s the thing, many institutions, especially the big boys, either have enough in reserves or can find a way to borrow money to put up against their short positions so they don’t have to close them prematurely. It can only squeeze higher if more and more retail is piling on, and if it looks like that momentum is slowing then institutions are going to double down on shorting. When all this is said and done the GME short interest is still going to be very high because the fundamental short thesis is intact until this thing trades back to 20 bucks or whatever.

i suspect they were buying more shorts to raise money, and then using that money to pay off their existing positions without closing their shorts hoping they can weather through this before everything crashes. SEC needs to investigate this ASAP. This is multibillion dollar market manipulation. It might hurt the entire economy. These wall street thugs need to go to prison for life.

fortunatley there are other platforms out there that allow trading GME

Blatant market manipulation. A lot of brokers are NOT allowing you to buy new shares, only allowing you to close your positions causing fear, uncertainty, and doubt. We’re seeing this ridiculous moment in history in real time. They really don’t want us to make any money. GL to all.
Yep, buddy of mine has RobinHood and he can sell his shares in BB and NOK, but he can't buy. He can buy every other stock he wants though. My Fidelity account is currently unavailable right now as well. "Fidelity is currently unable to provide brokerage or mutual fund account information. Please try again later."

Seriously, even Fidelity? Yeah, GME doesn’t even show up now except Globus Medicus.
Well Robinhood did let me buy Apple. Yeh!

Same. Here, as I am closing all my positions, can’t buy, only sell. Fidelity accounts unable to be use for some friends . This is bull.

Is this stock now going to plummet now that brokerages are playing dirty and not letting people buy? I was thinking about getting some today, but now I can't even get into my Schwab account.

Ridiculous that this manipulation can happen likely without consequence.

Got back in! Through Fidelity. And literally by the time I set up my transfer money from my checking it shot up to $478 in less than five minutes.
Anyway bought two whole shares!!!
free falling now, i can't decide whether to take the hit or risk it all.

stay the course?
they are relatively small money movements going on between hedge funds to make it look like there is a massive loss.
they are trying to LURE you to sell your stocks and create momentum for a selloff
i would stay the course

// not investment device, i'm a n00b

Won’t let me buy more! Keeps saying the numbers are not in line with the bid or some BS.

OK I bought two more! This is totally like being in a casino BTW! And I don’t gamble more than $20 usually. Not today tho! Haha

A lot of trading platforms (robinhood etc) are not letting you buy. Only sell.

This is driving the price into the ground. No one to sell shares to.

I wonder if the SEC gave Robinhood the okay to pull this move.

If they did sue them too! But why are people selling though? It’s all just manipulation and gamble. I figure a few hundred dollars won’t hurt me. I don’t spend much.

Volume is 690,000 compared to tens of millions the past few days: highway robbery market manipulation to the highest order

What does that mean? They are at $130 now.
Nobody is selling because they have shut everybody out of the market. It's just a scare tactic to make people liquidate their position.
Don't be fooled if you hold you win

I am all in buddy. Even though it looks like I have lost it all. Lol. I own six shares now. Two of the shares at $126.
When do they open up again? Tomorrow?

They need to buy 50 million shares how do you think that works out with less than 1 mil in volume
Who’s they? The Wallstreeters? On Fidelity it’s showing 27 Mil. Clearly someone is lying and manipulating if what you say is true.
I admit. I am clueless. This is fun for me. And I don’t ever gamble.

BUY THE DIP IF YOU CAN. TAKE EVEN MORE SHARES AWAY FROM THE HEDGE FUNDS!!!

This is a SHORT DOWN LADDER ATTACK by hedge funds moving whatever available shares they have between each other many times in rapid succession to make the ticker look like a massive sell off. It also makes it look like there is a TON of trading movement going on. THAT IS FALSE!! What they are doing is HIGHLY ILLEGAL and BLATANT PRICE MANIPULATION. But they are willing to be prosecuted and go to prison because they have doubled down and willing to take this risk to avoid paying tens of billions of dollars in the impending short squeeze.

Ladies and Gents, this is a game of chess. We are WAY AHEAD and will win this if we stick together and HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE.
What they are doing, risking prosecution, fines and prison tells you that they are DESPARATE!!

I will post some 2nd level data from ROBINHOOD soon to show u everything. Only a few thousand shares moving at any given time, with massive spread. These are the same shares moving back and forth between hedge funds. It doesn't help their overall cause to relieve their short positions. They want YOU to be scared to sell your shares.

// again not financial advice, this is my analysis as a n00b
