Has anyone heard from Yale since the two posts in late July? Super interested in this program hoping I didn't get placed in the do not interview/ignore pile......

what percentage of applicants post their invites on SDN? 10-20%?

Alright - first week of August was surely a letdown for me.

Looking at last years forum it seems like Duke, Cedars, UCSF and a few others came out around now....anyone know if they've sent invites already?

I received an interview invite from Nassau in New York two weeks ago but when I responded accepting and asking details about the interview day to plan my travel, I did not get a response. I have emailed them twice and I could not find a phone number online. Anyone have any suggestions?

Unless the interview day is coming up really soon, my advise would be try to be patient. People might be put off by extreme persistence. It took 1-2 weeks for me to get a confirmation for my interview date at one program. Best of luck! Hopefully they get back to you soon.

Better off. The program at Brown is garbage.
That's not true. Clinically very strong program. Great placement to subspecialties afterwards. They work you hard though from what I hear, and not as much research.

Interview is next Friday and I'm flying from California :(

oh wow. yea that's pretty unprofessional on their part. Does their main GME office have a number you can call.

EDIT:

I found this number on their IM residency page. Number for PC (516) 572-6501. Maybe call them and ask for cardiology fellowship office #.

In what galaxy? Look at the programs they're matching residents from. Red flag!

At this point, would it make sense to send a letter to PDs from programs I'm interested in but have yet to hear from? Would like to express my interest but don't want to come across as pushy... any thoughts or know anyone who had success with this route?

Way too early and pushy. A lot of programs are likely still going through apps, many of them seem to offer interviews in waves. I'd wait until end of August, beginning of September at the earliest, when you have little to lose. I'm not sure if it'll matter though as programs already know people want to go there.

I didn't even see Nassau in myERAS. Are they outside the match or something?

Agreed. They know you're interested because you applied. There's a real chance it could back fire on you and it's still way too early.

It's a DO cardio fellowship so that's probably why you didn't see it. They're definitely on ERAS though.

Will try to call them Monday. Thank you everyone!

I dont see it on my eRaS either. So it's DO program. An MD cant apply ?

on searching in new york I found 3 such programs : Nassau, Coney island and Arnot. can only a DO apply to these programs?

or if your residency is ACGME accredited you cant apply?? your residency has to be AOA accredited?

or if your residency is ACGME accredited you cant apply?? your residency has to be AOA accredited?
I am not sure, but I thought with the new system, everyone can apply to all programs.

but its not coming in Eras. how do we apply ?

Rejection Geisinger.
I also got the Orlando invite on 8/1 or so.

That is pretty sweet you can apply for all DO and ACGME programs at the same time.
