• Solid rotation sites/network, AMEC
• growing, working on new residency programs
• Great match list
• school provides ipad/laptop and board prep for students
• overall family-friendly atmosphere, felt comfortable
• near home

cons

• 60% mandatory attendance

CUSOM
pros

• attached to an undergrad institution, has multiple graduate programs including law, business, PA, nursing, pharmacy, etc. (not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing, but I like how well-versed the school is)
• partner Cape Fear Valley Health building new research center
• Has quite a few established residencies in-state, has done well for itself being a newer school
• has pretty great board scores

cons

• 80% attendance policy/strict business casual dress code
• Christian based institution
• haven't heard much about the quality of their rotations
• very rural area, Raleigh is 45 mins away
