I'm not agreeing with everything Doctodd said. I agree that others have a right to criticize him for it. I"m saything they shouldn't have the right to ban him or cancel him because they disagree with him. Everyone has a right to be heard.
Spoken like a liberal socialist, or maybe you just benefited from that bias in your medical career. I certainly would have rather been a black women trying to get into college/medicine instead of a white male.
The thing that 99% of ultra liberals fail to understand is that not all white people have an advantage in their life from being white!
If you were born to wealthy and or connected white parents, then sure. And many of the surburan white families in big blue cities have advantages compared to poor minority families in those same cities. But news flash, THE MAJORITY OF WHITE FAMILIES ARE NOT RICH OR CONNECTED., but liberals have been completed brainwashed into thinking 100% of them are.
Liberals are more brainwashed than cult members. But I understand this to some degree as all the national medial and most large universities are centers of group-think, not independent thought.
I will bring up a real life example and you can tell us all if this is fair. I was the only white male in my Harvard residency class. The rest were women, minorities, or both. Half of the residents were black, while only 13% of the US is black. All of the minority and female residents came from families with parents with bachelors and/or masters degrees and were encouraged and shown the way to achieve in life, while my parents did not.
I grew up in a tiny town in the rocky mountains, to extremely poor parents who didn't go to college, I went to a terrible public school, and I had no psychological or financial help whatsoever on my journey to become a physician
Who do you think was oppressed in this situation? Me, or the minorities/women?
