Don't you guys think it would be a good idea to start an acceptance thread???
You know.... school in which you got accepted and your scores.

The purpose is to avoid several posts asking "what are your scores?" to people who post that they got acceptance letters. Don't you think??.... well just take it over from here......

EDIT: In case you got admitted to more than one school, and have already made a decision about where you're are going, please post that as well.

Hello all!

A very happy new year to everyone. I'm certainly not new to SDN, but got registered only recently. I got accepted at U Penn. Here are some details :

NDBE Part 1 : 93
Toefl : 280
GPA : 3.72

Also interviewed at BU, UOP & received a call from NYU.

I seemed to get the impression from other candidates that U Penn looks for Work ex or people with Master's degrees. Let me share with you that I had NO prior work ex nor am I currently enrolled in MPH MS etc. Moral of the story : We dont know what they are exactly looking for in the interview. Be confident and be yourself - in my opinion this is what they look for.

Congrats !!! All of you have done a brilliant job getting thru this admission process.


I got into NYU last year but couldnot join ,had to move to London and got defferment . I am coming back this year to join . I am really excited . Its like dream finally coming true .


I think it would be a great idea to get to know afew classmates and make friend before the school starts .I would be commuting from NJ probably Iselin . Anyone else taking the Nj transit from metopark...... Well always good to have some company....

Hello All!

Just a quick note to follow up. I got accepted at both UPenn and BU. I decided to go to Upenn and the decision was driven primarily by the reputation of the school (Ivy League) as well as a nicer campus. At the end of the day it is a personal decision and I liked UPenn better. There are positives and negatives to both the schools - but both are fine institutions!
