I'm so sorry to hear that! Just out of curiosity when did you finish your PharmCas? Are you a late applicant that your interview is on March 29?

i finished my Pharmcas on December/January, but i had to updated the pharmcas dued to some errors occurred that brought me to March. I think Roseman have one more group interview on April 21st. i might be wrong thou. :), but at least i didn't get rejected. :)

Hi all, I have a question regarding the pharmacist intern license that Roseman help you to get. This license is so that you can work in a pharmacy unpaid and is part of the curriculum at Roseman. How does this pharmacist intern license compare to a pharmacy tech license? I am thinking of working as a pharmacy technician while attending Roseman.

With a pharmacy intern license you are allowed to work as a "paid" pharmacy intern at any pharmacy if hired. The only time you work in a pharmacy unpaid is when you are doing your rotations.

Thanks for the response! Do you happen to know the pay rate of intern pharmacists as well? I was told it is slightly higher than pharmacy technicians.

I think Roseman is helping us with the license.

I haven't even done financial aid yet. Anyone know the process to doing financial aid? Are we suppose to wait for a package from Roseman?

I received an Email 3 days ago containing my roseman email and the process to set it up as well as a website where I am able to view my financial aid package.

I got the email with my Roseman email account information, but it said nothing about financial aid or a financial aid website. Is that a Roseman specific website? Or just the FAFSA website?

It was a Roseman specific wensite. The email was in my roseman email inbox not the one I gave to school.

Yup, I got the same email and logged onto my Roseman email account. The instructions to view your financial aid is from one of the email you will find in your inbox. After logging into the "selfservice" I found that I got no charges pending and no loans given. However, it tells me to send in stuff like Master Promissory Note, FAFSA, etc. I guess I'll email the person in charge of loans to find out what else I need to do.

In order to start your Financial Aid process, you need to complete your tax return for 2015 and then fill out the 2016-2017 FAFSA. All this information was in your attachment that was emailed to you when you got accepted. I believe the attachment is named Financial Aid Checklist (aka #6 attachment).

What if we already did that and still nothing is showing up under FA?

You might want to follow up with them then. The appropriate contact numbers and emails for each campus are at the bottom of the page of that Financial aid attachment. I just completed my Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory note yesterday, so I'll give them more time to process before I follow up.

Ok, thanks. Also, what is the Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory note??

The Entrance Counseling basically is a tutorial about the federal loan your're about to borrow. There are also tips on ways to better manage your debt and reduce interest pay. The Master Promissory note is a contract that you sign to promise to pay back the subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans.

Hey guys! I sent in everything a couple of days ago to assure my seat and they sent me a congratulations letter that is contingent a couple of days ago as well. I just re-viewed the email and it says I need to get the "appropriate" grade on my pre-reqs I still have to complete, which are Ochem 2, Microbio, and Calculus. Does anyone know what "appropriate" means? I know for other pharm schools a C is satisfactory. Can anyone help clarify please? Thanks!

I've mailed them my acceptance package about a week ago. I have yet to complete a few prerequisites also and have yet to receive any email regarding the prereqs I have left. Hope I get the email soon.

The email that you got list specifically those three courses you have left? Just wanted to make sure, thanks!

Yeah, they should send you an email listing any pre-req's that you are currently taking in a "contingent" email. I received mine last week for the Organic 2 and Speech courses that I'm currently in.

Hi Sgtk100, I would email Ms. Dawn Benson since she is the Admissions Specialist. I got the contingent email about 2 weeks ago. Which classes do you still need to take?
I still need Calculus, English, and Speech.

Does anyone out there have a link to specific courses you have to complete for the joint MBA degree at Roseman? I am trying to find specific information about the exact courses for the MBA but am not able to find any information on it. And also, as I recalled from my visit during the interview, MBA is about 9 courses and 36 units costing about $7,000 per year? Plz correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Hey there, i just got back from the interview on the 29th. According to what i known, you don't have to have any prerequisite courses for it. All you have to do is just apply along with the pharmacy program. If you get accepted for Pharmacy, 95% you would get accept in MBA. The way the MBA work is you would take some MBA classes before P1 start; then take MBA couple more at the summer between P1 and P2, (which means instead of having 6 weeks off, you only have 1 week off in the summer), and the remaining MBA classes will fall in P3 year. the tuition for the MBA program is $20,000. i hope this helps. :D

Thank you! You took good notes, haha. I wanted to also know the specific name of the classes and a brief description of each classes though, which I don't think can be found on their website.

Congratz on having the interview over with! Best of luck to you!

If you don't mind me asking, why are you giving up your seat? Did you get accepted into another university?

Thanks for the reply! You mean the "Top 10 Reasons to get your PharmD/MBA at Roseman University" sheet? Ya, that sheet has some info. I'll inquire Roseman to see if they have more details about it.

I am looking for the exact course title and exact course description. I really need to know what I'm getting myself into before I get into it lol.

It's actually on another flyer sheet that is listed under, "Pharm.D./MBA Joint Degree Course Schedule". It doesn't have the course description for each course but only the course titles. Therefore, you should just call up the program coordinator and inquire. Ok good luck!

Hey everyone, I was originally on the waitlist, but yesterday I received an email indicating that I was completely rejected. I asked if I was still on the waitlist until august, and they said that no I had been completely rejected. Does anybody have any information on this? I thought that people are usually on the waitlist up until the start of class in August.

Hmm, I guess they forgot to put that flyer in my folder T_T. Thanks for the info!

I just did a google search using your description of "Pharm.D./MBA Joint Degree Course Schedule" with Roseman added to it and out pops this link:

http://www.roseman.edu/explore-our-...ss-administration/program-overview/curriculum

A regular search through Roseman will not get u there, I have no clue why. That page seems to not be connected to any official page on Roseman main website or something. But there it is for any of you who are missing that one flyer like me lol.

Sorry to hear that. For which campus did they reject you? Which campus was your first preference and which was second?

They didn't miss it thou. after the orientation, i went back to the "Student Common" and there was a table with MBA dual program there. That where i picked up the flyer.

Hey guys! Congrats on getting in! I'm currently a P1 at the SoJo campus and found my roommates on here last year and figured I would try again. Anyway I live at Sterling Village apartments and am looking for 2 roommates. I have everything you would need as far as kitchen items and living room items so if you are coming from out of state you wouldn't have to worry about moving any of that. The complex is literally right by school. You could walk or ride a bike. Rent would be about $450 a person not inlcudong utilities I currently have the master bedroom and pay $600. I do have a dog. He's tiny cattle dog/ jack Russell mix. The rooms are available starting August 1st. There is a garage connected to the unit as well. Let me know if you are interested!

When was ur interview?
my interview was january 26th. I got the waitlist notification February 9, then a few days ago I was hit with this email:
"Thank you for applying for admission to the College of Pharmacy at Roseman University of Health Sciences. The faculty faced the challenge of selecting a limited number of students for the incoming Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) class. Due to the competitive nature of this year's admission cycle, the Admissions Office regrets to inform you that you were not selected for admission into the class that begins this fall."

hi guys, I got accepted to south Jordan campus for pharmD program, good luck to people who are still waiting. I have a two bedrooms two bathroom apartment, less than two miles from school and I am looking for a roommate. Anyone interested or looking for roommate?
