Another batch of Carolinas today!
University of Michigan Interview Dates:
11/21, 11/30, 12/5, 12/7, 12/12, 12/19, 12/21, 1/4, 1/9
So I left a VM on Friday but haven't heard anything back either.Did you end up contacting her again? I am in the same boat- I sent an e-mail just now and got an automatic reply that she will be out all next week.
I guess whoever gets a response first just post....but sounds like we will be waiting awhile now.I'm on the same boat as you 2
Did you go to the info session thing they had? I didn't get an invite to it and am wondering if that means no interview invite either

I just got the same email....super bummer. That was the first invite I received that I responded to within an hour and didn't get a spot. Oh well. Better luck to us the rest of the week.Received a response: "Unfortunately our slots went very quickly and are full. If you would like to be wait listed, please let me know." (UTSA)

i really hope this doesn't stress anyone out, but I had a question about when one should feel comfortable cancelling interviews-- I applied very widely and so I currently have ten invites, but many of them are not the best programs. I have an interview in two weeks at a place I know my SO would not want to move to very much and isn't a stellar program. Should I feel comfortable cancelling it? Or wait a few days to make sure I get some more invites? I wanted to give them notice as early as possible so someone else could take the spot, but don't want to be shooting myself in the foot.

The halfway point for invites is generally late October. If you currently have 10...you have a very high probability of getting more than 15.
It's a risk to cancel but if I were in your shoes...Id probably take the risk if it's a program you're not very interested in.
Anyone get an invite to Mary Free Bed(new program) and get a response from the PC in regards to our top 3 dates? I'm still waiting for a response from October 6. The PC was out of office yesterday.
Still no University of Pittsburgh response for confirming the date. Maybe I missed something?
Same.
Interesting. I wrote my follow up yesterday to which I received the out of office reply--I don't want to bother her by sending another today, but would really like to know what's up so I can solidify my calendar up to date.I sent a follow-up email today to Mary Free Bed and the PC got wrote back pretty quickly confirming my request. I would definitely send a follow-up email just to check in on the status of your initial response.

I must have originally replied too late on the 6th, because I ended up getting an email saying that spots were full and I could go on the waitlist for my preferred dates if I wanted. Perks of being in the OR all day on my current rotation I guess...The PC did say that she would be sending out another email later this week with more information regarding the interview, so maybe sit tight for a couple days?
Hey all, does anyone have information on when we can/should write letters of interest? Also, what to write in them and who to address them to and any other rules? There are a several programs I haven't heard back from but are at the top of my list.
Thanks!
Schwab rejection today, and also Utah this week
No confirmation yetAnyone who got a SUNY downstate invite yesterday get a confirmation date email today?
take a look at the the spreadsheet linked at the beginning of this thread. Small sample size but some info. It seems really varied, to be honest. My strategy was to apply to a transitional year/prelim in every location I was applying to an advanced program that did not have categorical options. Then I applied to the programs in my home state and added 10 medicine prelim programs close to me in the midwest.how many Prelims/Transitionals are yall applying to?
Not yetDid anyone who got an invite from Kansas yesterday get a confirmation email back yet?
MCW or U of Wisconsin?Wait list at Wisconsin, email said all their interview slots are full.
