Email or card is fine. Any expression of appreciation is welcome.I interviewed over the weekend at a school that I really liked. The interview group got to meet the college administrators and talked with us for a while about the vast array of resources they have available for the students to ensure that they succeed and are happy. I've also heard from a doctor I work with who went to this college that the higher ups really care about their students.
I want to send an email of appreciation to the administrative staff who was with us the entire day guiding us through the interview day. She was delightful and I was more than impressed with the care the school demonstrated for their students. I do not want it to come off as oily and trying to get brownie points to try to sway admissions because that is absolutely not my intent. I'd also be happy to send these comments anonymously to them if there was a way to do that.
So my question is: is this appropriate?
Thanks
