Medical When to Negotiate Scholarships?

Hi! I have a question about negotiating scholarships - I have received a pretty generous scholarship offer from one school, and I was hoping another school I was accepted to could match it. However, the second school has not released financial aid information yet. When would be an appropriate time to contact the second school about matching the scholarship? Should I contact them now before they release financial aid? I just want to avoid a situation in which the second school allocates all of its scholarships.
