Question should read: What sub-specialties STEAL from others?
I am interested in oncology, but I don't know whether surgical or medical.
It seems surgical oncologists have a better chance of stealing patients and taking a chunk from the medical oncologists.
Is that true are they different enough that there is not much worry. How much overlap is there between the two?
What other specialties are in danger of having their patients being stolen from "similar enough specialties".
