I am currently gathering my LORs and filling out the applications, and would like to work towards MD and DO schools. I was wondering if you could suggest some school list based on my stats. Thank you!!

Traditional
cGPA
3.9
sGPA 3.83

MCAT score: 516 (130/128/128/130)

Residence: NJ with strong ties to WA and NY
Ethnicity: Asian male

Undergraduate:
  • Hunter College CUNY - BA, Biochemistry major, no minor
  • BMCC - AS, Health Science major

Clinical Experience
  • 5000~ hours of paid clinical experience (Urgent Care and Cardiologist office)
  • 150 hours of clinical volunteer (Ambassador volunteer, greeting and escorting patients in the hospital)
  • 150 hours of non-clinical volunteer (Red Cross, hotline)
  • Simulation Internship (Participating in 4th year medical student's simulation internship, where my responsibility was administrating vital signs and observe how 4th year medical students resolve such situation and participating in reflection afterwards)
  • COVID-19 community education empowerment internship
  • Lab assistant (Receiving blood samples in the hospital lab)
Research Experience
  • None

Shadowing Experience
  • Interventional Cardiology - 50 hours
Additional

  • Dean's list at BMCC
  • Attended multiple pre-health conference
LORs will be received from two MD doctors whom are current faculty at medical school and my physics professor. Suggestion would be very much appreciated!

Can you check off the schools on the list with whom you connected at your conferences or elsewhere?
I was able to connect with some professors at Rutgers and hackensack med school. I was fortunately able to meet some professors from Ivy league e.g. Harvard, but I thought with my current stats I didn’t think I would make it to harvard
