How many colleagues not required to participate in MOCA do so voluntarily? If not, do you meet all or most of the requirements?

I would think that only those who have a specific secondary gain in mind would choose to. E.g., Wannabe ASA or ABA officer, Wanting a subspecialty certification, Part of an academic department where there is pressure to do so, changing jobs, etc.

Of course ABA and ABMS will fight a threat to their monopoly. I’ve never done MOCA. Don’t plan to.

Wow. This is so very disappointing of the ABA.

Why did they need to say anything? Saying anything can ONLY diminish their own credibility.
