There will be no winners tomorrow, or whenever all the votes are tallied. More and more people are unwilling to listen to their neighbors, family and “friends” that have differing opinions on the issues that are ahead of us and pragmatic solutions to address them. More and more focus is being put into beating the person we dislike the most vs. voting for who we like the most. The platforms are vote for me because I’m not them and they are horrible which just further feeds into our social media dummified polarized brains.

Regardless of what your candidate says about how they’ll bring the country together or make things great or have the interests of everyone in mind... it really doesn’t matter. There will still be tens-hundreds of millions of people that don’t believe them. Yes most elections there has always been a divide but as population keeps increasing and information flow has greatly increased we just get more and more people on the extremes at both ends. The people more centered but still on one side or the other don’t want to actively put their own extreme people in check because they want their vote to beat the other people.

The direction the country must go isn’t right or left, it’s forward. Both need to work together. If not we either go nowhere when we fight each other or in circles if we overpower each other.

I fail to see the point. Did they wake up and say to themselves, "Let's scare some poor bus driver and make ourselves look like crazies today!" Biden wasn't even in the bus or anywhere close to the incident. We all know they won't try that to a vehicle that actually has Biden in it. The secret service would dispatch them quickly.

We don't even have effective protests anymore. It's like the extreme virtue signaling Olympics at this point.

But this incident shows why a Biden presidency is essential. Biden has come out against rioting and violence of left wing protestors. Here's Trump cheering these idiots on. This goes along with his "good people on both sides" and "stand back and standby" rhetoric of the past.

if you truly want to understand the mindset of the MAJORITY of conservatives, there are two issues that are more important than any other, where there is no room for compromise. If one of these two issues is of high importance to you, you have no choice but to vote for trump. i do not consider trump to be a stand-up guy by any means, but i will be voting for him.

- lower taxes
- gun rights
- overturning Roe v. Wade

i despise racism but i will take racism over infanticide every time. abortion is barbaric disgusting and we will look back on it one day and wonder wth we were thinking. it is worse than slavery. i would happily lay down my own life to save just one of those babies. oh and BTW, my wife and I have been waiting for 2 years to adopt, but nothing. Yet babies being killed left and right.

This is a twisted weak argument that fails to perceive the notion that the souls of the aborted, had they lived long enough, would have freely chosen to become Christian. Only people who freely choose salvation can enter heaven. Therefore, God in His infinite knowledge only allows those souls who would have chosen Him regardless of their "potential" life to be aborted.

In effect, they would have went to heaven regardless of whether they were aborted or not. Therefore, those who enact abortion commit a great sin against themselves.

Your ignorance is astounding, racism results in deaths and extreme suffering (see George Floyd) whereas there’s a spectrum of legitimate reasons to get an abortion. This includes cases like rape, especially when connected to incest which ironically happens more often in traditionally red backwater towns. Sometimes the health of the mother is endangered and an abortion must be considered.

There is never a reason to support racism, whereas there are real reasons to consider abortion.
