Step 2 Drop

Hey everyone, I'm an M4 applying radiology (DR) this cycle. My step 2 score dropped from 261 to 250 despite no indication from my practice tests. I'm curious how much of a ding this will make for me applying to residency. Otherwise good third year grades, likely upper 25% of class, active in med school, but minimal research.

No one can really stratify how much of a ding that’ll be. But you can’t do anything about it so it’s not like knowing will change anything. You’re still a great applicant so apply.

I had a bigger drop (and a lower Step 1) than that and matched at a top 20. You're fine.
