This is what I heard.
Due to the "situation" in Israel there is a major drop in applicants to sackler.
This lead the adcom to accept non-trad. applications, such as students who took the MCAT in april and even AUGUST of the year they matricualted in.
That essentialy means that based strictly on the students GPA the school accepted them into the program (probably under the condition that their MCAT would turn out OK).
has anyone else heard this?
