Would you like to be doing psychotherapy instead of just medication maintenance?


Community Care Alliance, a state-of-the-art Health Home community mental health center in Rhode Island seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to help incorporate psychiatric services within our Adult General Out Patient program. We are looking for a candidate who would work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to provide direct service as well as some administrative program development towards integrating psychiatry and psychopharmacology with the non-medical counseling portion of the program. The successful candidate will have the option of performing psychotherapy as well as medication management. Experience and confidence in dealing with comorbid substance abuse is a must. Suboxone waiver preferred.

This position includes some coverage of Emergency Services, IOP and PHP during regular business hours. No nights/weekends required but are available for additional income if desired.

Bilingual applicants preferred. Rhode Island license required.

This is an employed, full-time position with comprehensive benefits including vacation, sick time, paid CME time, paid holidays, health insurance, 403-B retirement plan (with matching funds after 6 months employment), paid life insurance up to $100k and professional liability coverage. The center is fully-electronic. We are a fully licensed community mental health center recently merged with a community action program offering a full array of psychiatric care as well as basic assistance to adults, children and families.
