With the PostbacCAS applications opening up around the corner, I was curious as to how everyone went about writing their Personal Statements. I've heard from some that, even though the Med School PS prompt is different (I think?), you can just write your Med School PS as your Postbac one and that would be sufficient. Is that how you went about doing it?

I applied last year and got into a postbac program.

The PostbacCAS prompt was, "Write a brief statement about how your experiences contributed to your decision to pursue a career in healthcare," with the same character limit as the AMCAS personal statement (5300 characters).

My postbac personal statement will also work for the AMCAS, with some minor updates. I think most postbac programs use this to get a good baseline of where your medical school personal statement is at, and how much work will be needed to make it competitive.
