the PCC'ers that I met on my interview said they had to catch up on material when studying for boards because they hadn't covered it enough or at all during their first two years. i realized that since PCC is student driven, you are kind of placing your education in your fellow PCC'ers hands. everyone has their contribution to a group, but if someone lags behind then you end up suffering. i wanted a more stable foundation for my education. thats the feeling i got. although, i do feel if PCC is run efficiently then it is the better option as I think it makes you a better clinician.
