What a joke!
Personally I don't think u can get interview that early. No offense

well, unless you are involved with the process, or have gone through the process, your personal opinion isn't really that accurate...

interview season for fellowship is early and since there are fewer applicants (typical number of applications received are in the 200 range) than in the residency match, there are fewer interview dates (4- 6/ per season) than in residency as well...so the timeline for invites is short...most (not all) invites are given out in july and august for august- october interviews...its is one of the reasons it very important to get that application out on day 1.

in endocrinology, an AMG with a decent application will get applications pretty quickly...

Sorry, you haven't gotten any invites yet...

I also got an Emory invite, 1.5 hours after apps were available. I'm assuming they didn't review them that closely...

Also, FWIW, Emory's interview dates are much earlier than I expected - late July through August.

well, again, its not like Endo gets a bizillion applications...even the biggest program has 4-5 spots/ year and the avg is more like 2/year.
The number of applicants for Endo is about 250-300/year, so reviewing that many applications in a day or 2 isn't really that hard for and Endo office staff...again, most interview invites are given out in the 1st month after ERAS opens and interviews are done by end of Sept, maybe mid October.

I submitted my application on7/17 cause I wanted to waiting until the LOR by my endocrine head was uploaded. So far Zero interview. Congratulations to guys who got interviews already. May I ask how many programs you guys applied to and if you guys require visa sponsorship or not?

Thanks.

(Staying hopeful)

Wow! Congrats. May I ask If you need a visa?

No visa requirement. AMG applying mostly to southeast programs. Also wanted to mention that I encourage people to submit even if LORs aren't in. My interviews last week were offered with only 2 LORs uploaded. Quiet week so far...

I am a green card holder. I am not sure fellowship programs rotating VA hospital will hire me or not. I heard you need to be citizen in order to work at VA hospital. Is this true? Please reply if you know. Thanks.
