Today my program got an email from NRMP reading that there is a record low number of applicants this year for IM fellowships that have registered so far which apparently opened on 4/16. They seem to think its because applicants are not registering for the NRMP thinking that once they are registered with ERAS then that's all they need to do. I am posting this to remind candidates who are interviewing that they should register with NRMP.
