You should be fine.... State of residency doesn't matter for MD/PhD programs. All of the TX MD/PhD programs including the 4 Texas MSTPs (Baylor CM, UT Houston, UT Health San Antonio, UT Southwestern) are in AMCAS. What of research are you interested?

Good to know, I wasn't aware they were in AMCAS. I guess no need to separate them by state in that case. I would be interested in a PhD in neurochemistry, but from what I've seen so far there aren't many schools with that interdisciplinary sort of program.
