Health Poverty Action offers rewarding elective placements around the world for medical students and professionals. You will spend time volunteering on one of our projects delivering health services to very vulnerable populations.
Your gift of time will be spent promoting safer motherhood, sexual and reproductive health and helping prevent life-threatening diseases such as HIV, malaria, TB, diarrhoea and other dangerous infections.
We are currently running schemes in Sierra Leone, Laos and Nicaragua. If you would like further information about our elective scheme please visit http://www.healthpovertyaction.org/get-involved/medical-electives/ or contact [email protected].
