Medical Advice for a friend...

Hey guys...one of my friends had some complications with an appendix removal and ended up with some really bad scarring on her lower abdomen. She is very self concious about these as would anyone her age. I was wondering if you guys knew of any current procedures/medications/treatments for scars out there these days that I could recommend to her to help reduce it.

if it is keloid, i heard radiation therapy or steroid injections sometimes helps
