Saint Barnabas Medical Center is expanding our residency to 6 residents per year. We were granted the positions starting this July 1st, and therefore are looking for applicants to start in anesthesia at that time. The positions will be filled through the match and we will be accepting applications through ERAS.
Barnabas has a near 100% first time pass rate on the boards ( 4 fails in 25 years), and a four year accreditation cycle. Our residents are excused daily to review for the boards, and usually fulfill their case requirements by the CA - 2 year.
Saint Barnabas is located 15 miles outside of Manhattan in Livingston, NJ. The hospital is the main hospital comprising the Barnabas Health System, a network of six different hospitals throughout the state of New Jersey. We have been training anesthesia residents since 1964.
Applicants must be ready to start this July, and must have passed all 3 steps of USMLE/COMLEX to begin training.
