Medical Is this good Leadership Experience? (MD)

I will be starting a leadership position at a local homeless shelter and the specific program I will be working with provides free showers and hygiene services to the homeless. I will be managing other volunteers and running things behind the scenes, so to speak. This is my only form of leadership and I don't have anything like executive board positions at any of my school clubs/organizations. Is this ok? Thanks in advance!

Yes, this is a good leadership experience. Try and improve the program yourself as well.
