Guess i should add that i do have an interview at MCG now, but the 10/20 date was full. Alleyes or anyone else with 10/20 want to switch for 11/17? I might even pay the cost of gas it would take me to make the extra trip.

Please do not worry about it. Keep things in perspective- remember, almost 90% match rate for US Seniors. Also, there are special circumstances in place for a few people on this board who are getting early interviews. For example, USC interview invites posted on this forum are from Hopkins applicants who traditionally get these invites first. That's just reality.

Enjoy your 4th year. Life will NEVER be as good.
 
Agreed. As long as you had submitted apps to a good number of programs, you don't have anything to worry about at this point. 2 rejections is nothing. I don't know anyone, including the superstars, who have not had at least 2 rejections.
 
Just got an interview at UTenn - Memphis for 11/21 by phone!
Per conversation, the 12/1 date is now full/closed!

Good Luck out there everyone! It's still pretty early! Remember most schools are still looking at applications and won't be sending out invites 'til mid October!!! :idea:

I have a quick question for Apple and those who got interviews at Cole: Did your application get distributed by CAS before the September 1 deadline? I missed the deadline by a few days (CAS was pretty slow with the processing) and was curious if anyone knows if they will even look at those applications.

Great work everyone - nice to see a steady flow of interviews coming in!
 
Cole is still contacting. Just got an email. For Wallaby my application was in before September 1.

I haven't heard anything either...it's prob a rejection...or we're backups of the backups and they'll call us if someone cancels :p

Yeah Virginia emailed me too and I did not apply there.

I also met one of the retina docs from U Illinois Chicago at a meeting and he said they were sending out in 4-7 days.

There are two in SC. I think the one alleyesonone is referring to is Palmetto Health/University of SC School of Medicine.

The one you are referring to is the second one in SC called Medical University of South Carolina.
