Forgive me if this is an obvious question. Looking at last year's invite threads for interviews, my interpretation suggests that most schools (e.g. UCSF) sends out all of its interview offers (or at least to their most promising applicants) on one given day. Or is it a rolling process that isn't reflected by the posts here?

In general, it seems most programs send out the majority of interviews (and maybe rejections) at one time. As the season goes on, some people will cancel, and programs will send out a few more interviews to replace those.

Close to interview days, some programs will send out their mass rejections when they are fairly sure all their interview spots have been filled.
