My daughter suffered a distal femur fracture on December 23, 2006 on a roller coaster at a theme park here in Florida. She still cannot walk!! Her femur has healed fine, but she has developed arthrofibrosis in her knee. After one scope and MUA on June 1, 2007, she is only at 60 degrees flexion. Her surgeon did get her to 110 degrees on the table. But with horrible post-op pain, she lost that very quickly. We are now searching for another surgeon and another procedure. I live in the Tampa area and would like any suggestions for ortho/knee specialists and if possible great physical therapists. Any other suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
