I have a undergraduate position at a local medical school and I'm looking to get funding for either this summer or next year. I've been combing the national sites and even some local ones but it seems like the only money is if you are enrolled in a "summer program" that gives stipends or can get on work-study. I already have a mentor and was wondering if anyone had advice. My mentor mentioned local organizations but I can't really find a foot hold (specifically she mentioned banks?). We have alot of great ideas for research and she said she'd be willing to apply for me, recommendation, etc. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated!
