Fellowships as FMG from sackler or BGU

Does being an IMG from any international med school for that matter hinder you from landing a fellowship later on in your medical career. I understand that sackler and BGU have strong connections in terms of residencies back in NY, but does this hold true if say you wanted to apply for a cardio fellowship after you completed a couple of years of IM.
