EASL gives 750 Euro bursaries away to attend EASL Oslo

The European Association for the Study of the Liver's aim is to support Young Investigators and help them attend the EASL Monothematic Conference on Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis which will take place June 21-23, 2009 in Oslo, Norway.

EASL offers 50 bursaries of Euro 750 each to the presenting author of the top abstracts accepted for poster presentation at the conference. The presenting author must be aged 35 or under and still in training.
The application is available to anyone fulfilling the above criteria, without geographical restrictions!

This bursary will be handed out by cheque during the conference - in addition, the registration fees to the conference will be waived.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The Bursary request must be made on the abstract form during the abstract submission only. The deadline for abstract submission is
April 3, 2009.

• The name of the presenting author MUST match the name of the applicant.
• Note! At the time of abstract submission and no later than April 20, 2009.

1. Proof of age – a clear copy of ID indicating date of birth
2. Proof of trainee status in the form of a letter signed by head of department

All confirmed applicants will be automatically registered to the Conference (no payment of registration fees is required).

IMPORTANT NOTE: EASL will grant bursaries only to those presenting authors who will attest that they are not being sponsored or covered by any other source in order to attend the EASL Monothematic Conference: Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
